Comfort in a Cage
60 × 48 in. | 2026
Spray paint, acrylic, gold leaf, stucco, and gloss varnish on canvas
Comfort in a Cage examines the emptiness that can exist beneath a life society labels successful. Surrounded by money, luxury, and symbols of arrival, the figure appears to have everything — yet remains shackled. The balloons reading “Don’t forget about me” represent love, the one thing overlooked in the pursuit of status and comfort. Their strings lead to the key, revealing that freedom was never hidden in the things she chased, but in the love she forgot to value.
Original held for solo exhibition.
